About The Club
Bawburgh Bridge Club is a member-managed club which provides daytime duplicate bridge for club-standard bridge players.
We play on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Bawburgh Village hall on Stocks hill, off the Watton Road,
100 yards south of the city bypass. (See the Map)
Normal afternoon sessions commence at 1.30pm, comprising 24 boards.
Table money is £2.00 for members and £3.00 for visitors. including tea coffee, soft drinks and biscuits throughout the session.
Players should be seated 10 minutes before play commences
On a number of Thursdays, we provide all day bridge comprising 18 boards either side of a nice lunch, preceded by coffee and
followed by tea. Bridge days open at 10.30 am with play starting at 11am.

Fees for bridge days are announced individually but are usually about £16.
The club is affiliated to the E.B.U and N.C.B. We use Bridgemate Scoring and provide pre-dealt hands at all our events.
Membership
The membership fee for the club is £8.00 for a year and £4 for a half
year. Subscriptions are due on 1st April . The web site includes an application form which should be
forwarded on completion to the Membership Secretary. (See Contacts Us). Members
receive an annual membership booklet containing fixtures and membership for the
current year together with a document outlining the Rules and Constitution of
the club
An AGM of members is held in the penultimate month of the year both to report on
the previous year's operations and to authorize appointments and
operational changes for the new year.
Members agree when joining to abide by the club rules and consent to
limited personal details being held on the club's computer, for the purposes
