Welcome to the club's website.
We play on Wednesday & Thursdays at Bawburgh Village Hall. The building is modern, generously heated and has an ample car park. To find us, click on the "Map" link on the left. Afternoon sessions commence at 1.45 pm. All day sessions commence at 11pm. Players should be seated 10 minutes before play commences.
Light refreshments are available throughout the playing session and are included in the table fee. All day sessions include coffee before play, lunch and tea. We play pre-dealt hands and use the Bridgemate scoring system at all our events. Local Master Points are automatically transferred to the E.B.U. monthly for EBU members.
To view the club program, event results and hand lists, click on "Wednesdays " or "Thursdays" in the menu on the left. The hand lists show all the makeable contracts for each player, suit and hand. On this page you can also access pages showing the status of the club's competitions. Click on Playing Rules for our playing procedures and "About BBC" and "Competitions" for more information about the club. We are happy to receive visitors on Wednesdays, excepting a small number of member-only days, which are asterisked in the club program.
Recent Changes to the Web Site. Sorry the results are a bit late. I was staying in a house where there was no way I could connect my laptop to the web. This weeks results have both been posted. Wednesday's incorporate a couple of corrections which have not changed the positioning. Thursdays also include a result correction by the director. In case of doubt we should say that the web results are the ones we supply to the EBU for master points |
